The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is streamlining the entire licensing process- whether you're applying for or renewing an operator's license, commercial license, motorcycle license, combination license, learner's permit or ID card.
All licensing services have fully transitioned from the Office of Circuit Court Clerk in every county to Driver Licensing Regional Offices throughout Kentucky. Kentucky State Police will still oversee all written and road testing.
It's a new era in licensing with modern and convenient options that put you in the driver's seat!
So instead of going to your county's Office of the Circuit Clerk for your licensing needs, you'll go to a Driver's Licensing Regional Office. A list of regional offices is below and more locations will be added soon. Any Kentucky resident is welcome to schedule an appointment at an open Driver Licensing Regional Office.

Doubled Card Lifespan
