Kentucky Driver Licensing Regional Offices Map

Need to Visit a Regional Office?

Most driver services can be completed online or by mail. If you need to visit an office in person, appointments are highly recommended, though all offices offer a limited number of walk-ins each day.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm
Payment Methods: All offices accept credit/debit, cash, personal checks, certified checks, and money orders.
Skip the Line: You may be able to renew or replace your credential online or by mail. Take a short quiz to see if you qualify, or find out if you can ‘skip the line’ when an in-person visit is required.

Appointments are scheduled through Qmatic, with new time slots released five days a week.
After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your appointment date, time, location, and a link to cancel or reschedule if needed.
On the day of your appointment, you’ll receive a text message with check-in instructions. You can check in on your phone and wait in your car or inside the office.
If you don’t have a mobile device, you can check in at a kiosk or with the concierge, then wait in the lobby until your number is called.

Every office offers walk-in spots daily.
Walk-in customers can check in at a self-service kiosk to receive a place in line. Once checked in, you will receive text updates and a notification when it’s your turn.
Customers may also scan QR codes located throughout each Regional office to check in directly from their phone.

All Regional Offices will offer monthly walk-in services from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (no appointment needed).
Note: This does not include written or road testing services provided by the Kentucky State Police.

Vision screenings can be completed at no cost at any Regional Office at the time of renewal. The screening takes less than one minute.
Drivers may instead ask their vision specialist or KYTC-credentialed osteopath, physician, or advanced practice registered nurse for a vision screening. Drivers who pass will receive a TC 94-202 Driver Vision Testing Certification Form from their provider to use when renewing their license.
The vision screening and Driver Vision Testing Form must be completed within 12 months of a driver’s license renewal visit at a regional office.
